CarePayment Welcomes Healthcare Finance Leader Matt Fisher as Strategic Account Executive

NASHVILLE, Tenn. October 26th, 2026 —CarePayment, a leading provider of patient financing solutions, announced today that Matt Fisher has joined the company as Strategic Account Executive. With more than 17 years of experience in healthcare finance, revenue cycle operations, and patient financial services, Fisher brings a provider’s perspective and a deep understanding of the operational challenges healthcare organizations face.

Fisher joins CarePayment from Curae, where he served as Vice President of Operations. Previously, he served as Director of the Customer Solutions Center at Piedmont Healthcare, one of the largest health systems in the Atlanta area. He currently serves as President of the Georgia chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), where his theme for the year, “Passion for patients, precision in finance”, reflects the balance he brings to every role.

Throughout his career, Fisher has led transformative initiatives, including digitizing financial assistance workflows, implementing patient financing and pre-service financial clearance programs, redesigning the patient billing and statement experience, and expanding digital communication channels to improve patient engagement. His leadership has resulted in significant gains in employee engagement, operational independence, and revenue cycle performance, with sustained top-quartile engagement scores driven by mentorship and continuous education.

“Matt’s firsthand experience on the provider side and in patient financing gives him a unique perspective on the challenges our partners face, which will translate directly to value for our clients,” said Scott Yanover, VP of Sales at CarePayment. “He understands what it takes to make patient financing work in practice, and that perspective will help us continue to deliver a solution that works for both providers and patients.”

“I’ve sat on the other side of the table, working to help patients manage their bills while keeping a health system running,” said Fisher. “That experience is what drew me to CarePayment. I’m looking forward to partnering with providers who are facing the same challenges I did and helping them find solutions that work for their patients.”

Fisher’s appointment reflects CarePayment’s commitment to not only expanding its reach to more healthcare organizations, but deepening the value of its solution, strengthening existing client partnerships, and ensuring its platform continues to meet the evolving needs of providers.
