We’re a program sponsored by participating health systems, hospitals and other healthcare providers to help you pay off your outstanding medical bills in manageable monthly payments, without interest or impact to your credit score.

No. We are a program sponsored by your healthcare provider that helps you pay your outstanding balance due after insurance has paid their portion. Unlike a credit card, with CarePayment you pay only what you owe* in manageable monthly payments and without interest at 0.0% APR.
*Note: late fees and NSF fees can apply

No. The 0.0% APR is NOT an introductory or promotional rate. Since the CarePayment program is sponsored by your healthcare provider, you will pay zero interest for as long as your account remains open.

We offer manageable monthly payments—as low as $25 per month. Term lengths vary depending on your balance and a determination by your provider.

There are many convenient ways to make your monthly payments:

If your minimum payment isn’t received by the due date listed on your statement, or within the three-day grace period following, you will incur a late fee of up to $25, which will be added to the minimum payment due on your following statement.

CarePayment is available for a wide variety of approved services. Check with your provider to confirm which services are eligible, as they can differ by hospital and healthcare provider. Certain services, such as dental visits or pharmacy services, are not covered at this time.

If your healthcare provider sponsors CarePayment, they may offer you this affordable payment option. After you have a medical procedure, your balance owed after insurance is determined, which can take up to 90 days. Once its determined, your provider may refer your remaining balance to CarePayment.

You will receive a welcome kit in the mail from CarePayment. In this kit, you will find your first statement, along with information about managing your medical expenses with 0.0% APR financing from CarePayment. To activate your account, simply make your first payment to CarePayment either by mail, phone or online.

If you have not yet received anything in the mail and your hospital or healthcare provider sponsors CarePayment, contact them directly about signing up.
